Preyed on humans for their blood.
Now he wants to be mortal again.

To emerge from his world of darkness,

This is a roleplay journal for Nicholas Knight, also known as Nicolas de Brabant, a vampire and homicide detective from the television show Forever Knight.
In this AU version, Nick does not die with Natalie, but instead is shot in the head by LaQroix in an attempt to give him amnesia as he'd had in the past. It works, and before he can be reminded of anything by his coworkers, he is moved to a hospital in the States. Once he recovers, physically at least, he goes back to work as a homicide detective. It's been a few years since his accident, and though he can still stand the sun and eat normal food, he's starting to get terrible dreams, of blood and death, sometimes while he's still wide awake. He doesn't know what to make of it, but like it or not, things are starting to get worse.
